The cost of meat is very high on the market. Poor people struggle to pay the expense of purchasing and eating meat all year round, even though they would love to. Everyone looks forward to the significant occasion of Qurbani. Even a tiny bit of meat makes their kitchens delighted. The elderly have a joyous Eid, children eat with joy, wealthy and impoverished communities develop a close friendship, and a generous bind emerges.

In many areas of our country—border regions, river islands (chars), and remote villages—there are hundreds of communities where Qurbani animals are rarely sacrificed. Many households are so needy that they never even get a taste of Qurbani meat on their plates.
We are grateful that Silent Hands Support has been organizing Qurbani for the last six years thanks to the kind contributions of our respected donors.

Here a note for you:

One goat is sacrificed on behalf of one person. One-seventh (1/7) share of a cow is sacrificed on behalf of one person.

If you wish, you may also donate a whole medium-sized cow as an individual.

If you are performing your Qurbani overseas, you may donate the equivalent cost of meat for the needy, and we will distribute it among them Insha’Allah.

Qurbani meat will be distributed among the poor, needy, and orphans on Eid day and the two following days (2nd and 3rd day of Eid).

Qurbani Cost Details:

👉 1 Share of Cow - ৳15,000 (Approx. $198 AUD)

👉 Medium-Sized Cow - ৳65,000 (Approx. $867 AUD)

👉 1 Goat - ৳18,000 (Approx. $240 AUD)
