Every winter, the harsh cold in Bangladesh brings severe hardship to the poor and helpless, leading to countless deaths. Silent Hands Support has been dedicated to alleviating this suffering by distributing winter clothes and blankets.
In December 2019, Silent Hands Support distributed 1,410 blankets across several regions including Mithapukur, Rajibpur, Saghata, Gopalganj, Gazipur, and Dhaka. Additionally, lunch was provided to 300 elderly individuals in Gaibandha. In Kurigram, locals expressed heartfelt gratitude as they had not received relief aid in over 20 years.
The final phase of this initiative included plans for further distribution in remote areas of Sherpur, Jamalpur, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Sylhet, and Dhaka’s street dwellers. The project successfully concluded on December 31, 2019.
Silent Hands Support continues to seek donations and participation to extend this much-needed assistance to those in need.
