SWN-022: Warm Hearts, Warm Hands: Winter Clothes Distribution Project

Winter is a season of hardships for the underprivileged in our country, bringing severe cold that affects the most vulnerable—especially the poor, homeless, and street children. These individuals face extreme difficulties during this season, struggling to stay warm without adequate clothing. To alleviate their suffering, a special project was launched at the beginning of 2019. Dubbed the "Happy New Year Gift," this initiative aimed to distribute warm clothes to those in need. The distribution took place at Kamalapur Railway Station, located in the heart of the Dhaka metropolitan area in Bangladesh. On January 1, 2019, Silent Hands Support organized the distribution of winter clothes to the impoverished community. The joy and gratitude on the faces of the recipients were evident as they received their much-needed garments. This act of kindness not only provided physical warmth but also brought a sense of hope and happiness to those in distress.Silent Hands Support is proud to have been a part of this meaningful project. By coming together, we were able to make a significant difference in the lives of many, ensuring they could face the winter with greater comfort and dignity.
