SWN-025: One Meal and Health Awareness: Supporting Street Children in Dhaka

In Bangladesh, many people still struggle with hunger and malnutrition, particularly street children who often face uncertainty about their next meal. This constant lack of nourishment leads not only to food insecurity but also to various health issues, as these children remain unaware of basic health practices.
Silent Hands Support , organized a One  Meal and Health Awareness project. On January 25, 2019, we provided food, gamcha (traditional cloth), and soap to 150 helpless children in the Kamalapur area of Dhaka city.
This initiative aimed to offer immediate relief from hunger and promote better health practices among these vulnerable children. The joy and gratitude on their faces were a testament to the project's impact.
Silent Hands Support is committed to making a difference in the lives of the most disadvantaged members of our community. Through efforts like this, we strive to provide not only essential resources but also hope and a sense of dignity to those in need.
