Ramadan is the holiest month in Muslims' life. Regarding the importance of Ramadan's Sehari and Iftar. The wealthy people consume fish, meat and good food for their family. On the other hand, the poor pass their family with little food and sometimes without food. That's why their Ramadan month end with poverty and food problems. The helpless people cannot eat well in Sehri and Iftar. So, we arranged Ramadan Food Pack distribution under Zakat Project on behalf of Silent Hands Support to lessen their sufferings. The aim of the project was to help the underprivileged people in the remote area of Ramu in Cox's Bazar district in Bangladesh. Total 150 needy families were benefitted by the project. The project was completed on 04 May, 2019.
On the following day, another Ramadan Food Pack distribution project was organised in the remote areas of the country. The budget for each family was fixed at Tk 1200.00. The items of the pack were rice, pulses, chickpeas, dates, sugar, puffed rice, flattened rice and edible oil. The project was completed on 05 May, 2019.
